This will go through how to power cycle a desk phone. This is just switching the device off and back on again and no settings are changed doing this.
This is not a factory reset that clears the phone of settings and lines being activated.

Procedure
Phones powered by Ethernet
- Find the ethernet cable on the back of the phone
- Unplug the cable
- Wait10 seconds
- Plugtheethernetcable back in
- Wait for the phone to power back on
Phones powered by an external power supply
- Find the Power cable on the back of the phone
- Unplug the cable
- Wait10 seconds
- PlugthePowercable back in
- Wait for the phone to power back on
Power cycle through the menu
Polycom
- Press Home key (look like a house)
- go to Settings
- Select Basic Settings
- find and select Restart Phone
- The phone will now reboot
Cisco
- Press settings Key
- Select Device administration
- Select Restart
- Select OKwhen asked about system reboot
- The phone will now go through the reboot cycle
Yealink
- Locate the X (or cancel) key.
- Press and hold the X key until you see a prompt on the screen.
- Press the OK soft key (below the screen) to confirm the reboot.
- Wait for the reboot to complete.
