Simultaneous Ring


You can use the Simultaneous Ring to link your main number to your mobile or office assistant.

Note: While SimRing provides a simple mechanism for linking to alternate numbers we recommend limiting its use for an individual number owner needing to link their main phone to one or two alternates, such as a mobile. For more sophisticated call flows also review the Forwarding and TrunkingCall Queuing, or Auto Attendant features. When using a mobile number in simultaneous ring, if the call is answered by the mobile, an outbound call will be charged at the rates of your current plan.

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Select Switchboard.
  3. Select the phone number you require Simultaneous Ring on.
  4. Select Inbound.
  5. Open the dropdown box Simultaneous Ring.
  6. Set your target numbers (up to 5).
  7. Turn Active toggle on.
  8. Select availability hours.
  9. Choose ring delay time (in seconds).
  10. Save changes.
Number: Line will ring simultaneously with the entered number.

Active: Simultaneous ring will be active for that entered number.

Hunt Mode: Toggle this button if you want the number to ignore any settings currently on the line (line you are forwarding to). Eg Voicemail, forwarding settings.

Ring Delay: Enter a value to represent seconds before initiating simultaneous ring, 0 by default indicates it will ring straight away.
